Помогите с настройкой xfree86 (Очень надо...)

Помогите с настройкой xfree86

Уважаемые господа Гентульмены! Значит приступим к делу! Не могу настроить иксы!
1) Никак не могу правильно отредактировать XF86Config
2) Не могу зделать чтоб по умолчанию стартовал кде(т.е. по комманде startx)
3) Брал XF86Config от Шапки - не работает!
Просьба: пришлите мне на мыло ваши конфиги или дайте дельный совет!

P.S. На gentoo.org не посылать, там уже был - не помогло :(

XF86Config для этого вообще не нужен. В своём домашнем каталоге найди файл .xinitrc (если его нет, то создай) и пропиши в него "startkde" (без кавычек). Удачи!

А помоему это для самонастройки иксов и создания в домашней директории файла XF86Config.new.
ДЛя согдания конфига надо использовать xf86config или xf86cfg -textmode(так удобнее).

А там такое этой прогой насоздавал!
XF86Config для этого вообще не нужен. В своём домашнем каталоге найди файл .xinitrc (если его нет, то создай) и пропиши в него "startkde" (без кавычек). Удачи!

Все зделал! Все таки книги читать полезно! помогли две старые добрые книги!
И еще совет

Спасибо! Остальными советами воспользоваться не успел т.к. в инет только вышел, а настроил все сам! Спасибо также что выложили конфиги, может че понядобится! Короче всем спасибо!
